Daniel Drolet, Senior Partner, Group Benefits at Normandin Beaudry will provide a background on the art of risk management, current pooling trends, including the Quebec model, and an overview of what is working and what is creating challenges in the large, mid-sized and small group markets.
This will be followed by several brief presentations from solution experts who will examine the role of health spending accounts, flex benefits and innovative ‘group’ arrangements in managing risk for small and mid-sized groups. Presenters will include:
Steve McEwan, COO and Co-Founder of myHSA
Meaghan Vallis, Group Sales Vice President with Equitable Life
Sasha Opacic, Vice President Sales with Ontario Blue Cross.

After the presentations we will move to break out discussions, moderated by our presenters, where participants will explore one of either the small, mid-sized or large group dynamics of the changing risk landscape. Choose your break out group when you register.
Results will be written up and released in a future blog.
There will be a pre session poll for attendees and a group discussion following the break out session.
If you are located anywhere in Canada except Alberta, you will receive
